paul
Paul's great object was not merely to instruct and to improve, but to save. Anything short of this would have disappointed him; he would have men renewed in heart, forgiven, sanctified, in fact, saved. Have our Christian labours been aimed at anything below this great point? Then let us amend our ways, for of what avail will it be at the last great day to have taught and moralized men if they appear before God unsaved? Blood-red will our skirts be if through life we have sought inferior objects, and forgotten that men needed to be saved. Paul knew the ruin of man's natural state, and did not try to educate him, but to save him; he saw men sinking to hell, and did not talk of refining them, but of saving from the wrath to come. To compass their salvation, he gave himself up with untiring zeal to telling abroad the gospel, to warning and beseeching men to be reconciled to God. His prayers were importunate and his labours incessant. To save souls was his consuming passion, his ambition, his calling. He became a servant to all men, toiling for his race, feeling a woe within him if he preached not the gospel. He laid aside his preferences to prevent prejudice; he submitted his will in things indifferent, and if men would but receive the gospel, he raised no questions about forms or ceremonies: the gospel was the one all-important business with him. If he might save some he would be content. This was the crown for which he strove, the sole and sufficient reward of all his labours and self-denials. Dear reader, have you and I lived to win souls at this noble rate? Are we possessed with the same all-absorbing desire? If not, why not? Jesus died for sinners, cannot we live for them? Where is our tenderness? Where our love to Christ, if we seek not his honour in the salvation of men? O that the Lord would saturate us through and through with an undying zeal for the souls of men.

attention remnant: gospel of the outcast
I feel this message needs to get out now to the remnant, to respond to, by reaching these people where they are at now. Whether it's because they believe God won't forgive them or they've went too far for God to bring them back, but God said he's married to the backsliders. These people, God has a very important call on their lives that will change things in the last call of God, in these last moments here on earth. Whether this message gets out by phone, mail, word of mouth, or the Internet, it must go out. He that is willing to hear what the Spirit is saying (Revelation 2:7-17) ...
What exactly is an outcast? In Luke 15, the outcasts are those who have been rejected as failures by society and by the church. They include those who feel rejected by God because of a moral failure (Luke 15:4). Jesus' message that day was meant not only for those who gathered before Him; it was intended for every generation and especially for our present one.
Christ's message in these parables is for all who have fallen into sinful bondage. This can include pastors or teachers or simply any believer. It is for those who once were on fire for the Lord, but who now are drifting, growing cold, feeling unloved by God or the church. God never gives up on anyone who belongs to Him but has gone astray. He never allows the downfallen to drift so far they can't be brought back. Instead, God goes out to find that sheep, embraces it, and brings it back into the fold.
But I do believe, as David said in Psalms 139:8, "If I make my bed in hell, behold, Thou art there."
Whether beyond the pig pen, which I believe to be hell, that maybe that bed that you've made, you'll have to lay in it. Maybe because of pride or just a hardened heart, may not listen to the Spirit. Could be a place of no-return - that's something that you may not want to go to, or through. Amen. If you're going deeper and deeper into hell, you may or may not ever get back to God. One of the greatest lies of Satan is that you can't get back to where you were supposed to be, but the deeper you go, the more difficult it is.
In Joel 2:21, 25-27, God said He will restore you and all that was taken, but you must let God be God. Amen. Once the Shepherd brings you back, you are fully redeemed.
My favorite parable is the Lost Son. This parable is about returning. It is also about grace, forgiveness, and restoration. The prodigal's father never rebuked him, never condemned him, never even spoke about his son running away. Instead, he threw a party.
I believe that love brought this young man home, but it was the father's delight that kept him there. Everything in that young man's life that had been eaten by the cankerworm was being restored.
Dear friend, if you're one of these lost ones, please do as the prodigal did, and fall on your face, and cry out to God, "Please help me, take me back!" The one who has been going after you for years is ready to receive you. It is time to come home to Jesus. Amen!

what line are you in
I wanted to start my first article about what line are you in. we all stand in lines! Just the other day my wife and I were standing in a line to get our picture taken. We were happy to be in the line. We had nothing to be worried about, because if you ever saw my wife you would know she is very beautiful. Who are you following? Are you following the crowd or are you following Jesus? What line are you going to be in when you die? Are you going to be in the line leading to Heaven or hell? We all have to judge that according to God’s word. My Question for you today is, when we are standing in that line to give account of why Jesus should let you into heaven are your feelings going to be happy or scared? Well the ones who have called on the name of Jesus will not be scared. My friends and readers I do no not want you to be scared on that day. I want you to be overjoyed, excited! Do not let this article go by you with out thinking about which line you are going to be in when all is said and done. There is no coming back once we take our last breath here on earth! So if you’re not sure which line you are going to be in, here is your chance to ask Jesus into your life! Here is a prayer for you: Jesus I’m a sinner in need of a savior. I believe you have died for my sins and you rose on the third day, and now you are in Heaven. I ask you to be my savior all the days of my life. Thank you Jesus. That is all you have to do.
